History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Laucian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
