History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rael grew up listening to his father's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

History: She was born in a small island village. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
