Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Guard arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born in the east to a Healer, Jacoba learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her childhood dream was to be a Dyer, but she was a colossal failure. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: Lance is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was born in a small island village. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sage for hire.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Ildrex hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Ildrex alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Ildrex was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sculptor. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sculptor for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.
