History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Merla and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Shoemaker father left him crippled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
