Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Zook embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born to a Navigator, her mother struggled to pay the bills. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. After a long history of fighting, Norkruuth and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: She was born into a rich family. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 5'0" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized violet coat. She has shaved her head bald. Her eyes are brown and beady.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Maynild grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Maynild. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

He has dyed his greying yellow fur a little too much giving a sharp yellow color. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed brown hat.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Sweet has worked very hard to control his curse. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears suspenders and green workpants. His shirt is blue, and he wears a heavy green leather apron most of the time. His blue crest, when down, is lengthy. His fierce red eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Fortune-teller arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Dondon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and to end his boredom
