Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Sweet fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and retire the richest woman in the north

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears long strands of opal and short grey dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is a great chef.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Roland was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Roland's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is content; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he dresses well, wearing yellow shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His golden hair is heavily combed to the right. This hazel eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is content.

Description: This tall, slender woman very much looks the part of a Fisher. Her hair is purple and curly. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has taken up work as a Fisher and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

His blonde hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a robe, a symbol of strength around his neck, and a greatsword on his belt. His brown hair is thinning but still full. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gray eyes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he is content
