History: Kansif was born with her mother's beautiful face. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Kansif alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Agnes was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war.
