Personality: He is a Locksmith first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. A true patriot, Trym would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trym lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Trym alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has worked as a Locksmith like his mother before him.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tabaxis became a terror of the countryside. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears dull grey sweaters, loose green pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed lance, just in case. His silver hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His half smiles and violet eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Crown-heir.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is greedy

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he is well dressed, constantly wearing a blue suit, brown shirt, and green tie. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His gray eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Fibblestib was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Fibblestib abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Mercenary born in the past three hundred years. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Buvvie is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
