The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. She keeps her long white hair kept up in a rat tail. Her white eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Knight arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Dyer. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Dyer; and she wants to get laid

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Vepar's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a Bricklayer, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barrister they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Dilettante, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Althaea was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When Althaea reached her early adolescence her Half-Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
