History: Grai lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
