History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. History: He was raised in a desert tribe. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

With bright brown hair and a scraggly beard. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Jabbie was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to settle down with his crush

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spy.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: Ekemon is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and a strong sense of loyalty to gnomish people
