History: He was raised in a island tribe. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Spy work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spy work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His childhood dream was to be a Animal Trainer, but he was a colossal failure. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Description: She wears black leather gloves, a black jacket, and tight pants, and carries shortspears. She has slicked back golden hair. Her eyes are a pleasant amber.
Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Grigi was born the youngest of three triplets. A gifted student she started as a Soapmaker, but she got bored and became a Mercenary. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Grigi fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mercenary and was forced into it by her family; and money/treasure

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She invites people to come help in her community garden.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Lorilla was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He wears his auburn hair up. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Barber and occasionally as a mercenary.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and further expansion of business

Description: Her left side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She has the majority of her body covered in plate. Her hair is long and brown with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small tan clips. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.
Personality: Virra is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Being a Dilettante kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: Born in the west to a Mortician, Nadarr learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.
