His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is long and black with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small violet clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: He is mildly Half-Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She tends to her Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he loathes his own lifestyle
