Description: This southern woman is abnormally tall. She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. She wears a Stetson hat to hide her balding. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady brown eyes.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Avelina embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.
History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and balancing her hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it, and carries daggers. His orange fur is unkempt and raggedy. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Apothecary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Apothecary.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Description: She tends to wear a brown poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. She is physically well-built. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: She is mildly Human supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.
History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Williamina grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Williamina. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Brewer.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His silver hair is braided into rings. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A freak accident while working with his Crown-heir father left him crippled. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His red hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His skin is flawless and his brown eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own.
