Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Quarethon's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. Aerdeth enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
