Description: He wears a black shirt with thin white vertical stripes and blue pants, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'2" when asserting himself. He sports a flattop hair cut. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady red eyes.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: Marbas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Scribe responsibilities is difficult; and to be a body guard again

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears dull brown sweaters, loose blue pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed scythe, just in case. He has wavy golden hair. His eyes are likewise amber.
Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.
History: The child of a Hunter, who enjoyed hunting, Nalral was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Nalral took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up scythe and armor he uses now. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Dilettante for the past few years.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to be a hunter again

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Dwarves. His skin is light but he possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with brown lining and desert motifs. He sports a long auburn beard, and similarly colored long hair. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When Fargrim reached his early adolescence his Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Fargrim and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His brown hair, when down, is lengthy. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. Dain was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Dain decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He bought a warhammer and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now owns his own business.

She prefers to carry a sickle, but if one is not available she will default to her lance, marred by sweets. Her hair is white and very short. Her amber eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.
History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She takes great joy in being the best Ruler in town.
History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She struck the Ruler job and began her own company from there.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her childhood dream was to be a Seamstress, but she was a colossal failure. After a long history of fighting, Bethrynna and her spouse have recently divorced.
