History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Iados has worked very hard to control his curse. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Mayor. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: She got into the Stableman business at a young age. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Born in the south to a Painter, Altho learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He struck the Painter job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
