History: Born in the south to a Miller, Cloak learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Miller responsibilities is difficult.

History: Virra hails from a village terrorized by illithids. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Ildrex was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. During his travels, Ildrex and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Ildrex discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Ildrex fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
