Personality: She is fixated on the number 8. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. While she appears to be a normal Half-Orc, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and many goblins want her driven away

She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. Cask enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cask grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

History: He got into the Knight business at a young age. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Knight for hire.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new knight responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Tabaxi culture. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Knight business.

History: Aelar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His childhood dream was to be a Server, but he was a colossal failure. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Fortune-teller work with an outfit from a few towns over. Fortune-teller work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Navigator.
