History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Servant. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Servant.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Donella alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted.
