History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Halimath was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Halimath was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Halimath decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her childhood dream was to be a Animal Trainer, but she was a colossal failure. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Shoemaker for hire.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and to be a animal trainer again

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born to a Barber, his father struggled to pay the bills. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
