History: He was born in the east. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Jabbie alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of a Miller, who enjoyed hunting, Halander was taken on many hunting expeditions. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed.
