Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Agnes hails from a village terrorized by goblins. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Agnes fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Burana was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of brigands

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Performer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Performer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Her red hair is matted, messy, and big. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes giants are coming to abduct people. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was born in the north. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying north to reunite her family. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and many giants want her driven away

He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
