Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has worked as a Layabout like his father before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult; and wants to work out more often

History: Jacoba hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. After coming to the age of reason, Jacoba took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

Personality: The woman has a huge range of feeling. She will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how she will be a better person from this day on. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter.
