History: Peren was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He tends to his Painter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Tricking has worked very hard to control her curse. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants her loneliness to end

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
