History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born in the south. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. A true patriot, Chad would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and doesn't want to be a seamstress and was forced into it by her family

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a white coat, and is pretty ugly. Her long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her eyes are likewise gray. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Through the years after Portia was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Portia's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and he wants to get laid

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Shoemaker profession.

History: Vepar hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ploughman.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Ploughman responsibilities is difficult.
