History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Spice Merchant for hire.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 8 years.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Frouse reached his early adolescence his Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Howard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. Gynk enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
