History: The child of a Junk Dealer, who enjoyed hunting, Ur-Masi was taken on many hunting expeditions. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.

Personality: Merihim wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Merihim lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. One day when Merihim was young, his mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his mother dropped to the ground dead. His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Merihim was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Jarana isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. She is obsessed with her god.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Through the years after Valafar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Valafar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Spy arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is greedy; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
