Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Shadow never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Through the years after Ethereal was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ethereal's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She is greedy; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She struck the Merchant job and began her own company from there.
