Description: She is lean but muscular and has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her pastel robe. Her silver hair is heavily combed to the left. Her black eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Bryseis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.
History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Description: This tall, slender woman wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. With wild white hair. Her gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.
History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Meriele has worked very hard to control her curse. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Meriele fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Description: She wears grey leather gloves, a grey jacket, and tight pants, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 6'0" when asserting herself. Her moppish black hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her eyes are brown and beady.
Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.
History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: The child of a Spice Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Grisha was taken on many hunting expeditions. Grisha abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: Dagger lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Gnomes. His skin is light but he possesses many grey ritualistic tattoos. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His black hair is heavily combed to the right. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. A true patriot, Cockaby would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Cockaby hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He bought a greataxe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears a green vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her violet leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her green boots flare out at the collars. She has no crest. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Uadjit grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Through the years after Uadjit was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Uadjit's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
