History: Rosamund was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Patrin was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.
