History: Numba was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
