History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Locksmith. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She is dressed in a clean black cloak covering her clean studded leather. She has bronze crest. Her eyes are gold and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dragonborns.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dragonborn conditions. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He is physically well-built. He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length black hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She is a Chromatic Dragon in disguise. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. After a long history of fighting, Torgga and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Gomory was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has worked as a Stableman like his mother before him.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Born in the north to a Shipwright, Fabien learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shipwright. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and balancing his hectic life and new shipwright responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the north were limited. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and retire the richest woman in the north

Description: This western woman wears many layers of old clothing at all times. Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. Her fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire.
