History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: The child of a Bowyer, who enjoyed hunting, Ermina was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
