History: Nelkin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Butcher. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Mishann was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Mishann abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She now owns her own business.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was born in a small island village. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Butcher for the past few years.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he is content

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Quarion lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and revenge

History: Pyntle was born with her mother's beautiful face. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Pyntle was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.
