History: Bethrynna was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she dresses well, wearing yellow shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. She wears a deerstalker hat to hide her balding. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.
Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Bethrynna was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.
Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and she is greedy

Description: He wears long strands of ruby and short tan dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.
Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Eberdeb grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Eberdeb alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Miller arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has worked as a Miller like his mother before him.

Personality: She hates Humans with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. The war was a terrible time for her, and Millicent does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: She sports violet clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. She carries with her a set of flails on her belt, each one with a opal on the hilt. Her black hair is smooth and relatively long. Her brown unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: She was raised in a desert tribe. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Joan took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up flail and armor she uses now. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Joan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her necromantic talents. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dariff fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.
History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Veloptima abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Tanner and occasionally as a mercenary.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
