History: Mella was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Mella was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Mella's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Mella and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Sailor. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Rosamund is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Rosamund hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She now owns her own business.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it
