When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her first spouse was a Barrister, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Assassin work with an outfit from a few towns over. Assassin work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Assassin for the past few years.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Balifra grew up listening to her father's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balifra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
