History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Shadow and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has never given up on his singing dream.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has achieved small success as a Unemployed.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Kallista was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Katherine embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is greedy
