History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At a young age his mother died while driving off some dire rats. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in monstrous two handed axe use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Ulfgar was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
