History: The child of a Map Maker, who enjoyed hunting, Bertram was taken on many hunting expeditions. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
