History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lucan grew up listening to his father's many stories. Through the years after Lucan was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Lucan's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

Her father taught her the rudiments of the Bowyer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Bowyer. She has worked as a Bowyer like her father before her.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. The war was a terrible time for him, and Alston does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When Alston reached his early adolescence his Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
