Description: He wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a pickaxe, but if one is not available he will default to his quarterstaff. He is physically well-built. He has a red handlebar mustache and slicked back red hair. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to prove his worth to the world

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. With bright black hair and a scraggly beard. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his feathered grey hat.
Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: He got into the Sellsword business at a young age. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He became a Sellsword soon after.
Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and to protect his home

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing grey cape and mantle trimmed with soft tan waves gently in the breeze. His black hair is knotted and matted. He has amber eyes.
Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. The war was a terrible time for him, and Chad does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Chad was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Liftrasa isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.
History: The child of a Seamstress, who enjoyed hunting, Liftrasa was taken on many hunting expeditions. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Adelaide's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has never given up on her writing dream.
