History: Gubu was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. A gifted student he started as a Map Maker, but he got bored and became a Layabout. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Lûgdash was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has achieved small success as a Beggar.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. Her red hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Waywocket was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her parents were killed by drow in a raid when she was still a young child. The drow captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Waywocket was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: She wants revenge against drow; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Mara will drive conversation. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Performer. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and further expansion of business

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Chay embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Chay and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Mardred was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
