Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, she wears a grey costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on her torso. She has wavy golden hair. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her brown eyes.
Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes giants are coming to abduct people. Marastyr is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
History: Marastyr was born the youngest of three triplets. Marastyr liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Marastyr was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.
Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers.

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Revenge; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Tiefling, and stands approximately 5'10". He wears a tattered pair of loose green pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs, and his gloved hand is found clutching a crossbow. He sports a flattop hair cut. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When Fenriz reached his early adolescence his Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she is well dressed, constantly wearing a red suit, grey shirt, and black tie. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her gray eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Merla alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: She wants revenge against gnolls.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 4'3" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light grey in addition to tight pants. He has styled his chestnut hair well, parting it to the right. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nalral fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a strong sense of loyalty to dwarven people

When Theirastra reached her early adolescence her Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel.
