She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Through the years after Shava was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shava's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Shava never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
