Personality: Hillanot is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Being a Cartwright kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

She has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. Her chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Her hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and an old rival family wants her found

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Drifting was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Shipwright. He bought a crossbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is greedy; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a green coat. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. This silver eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Nicor hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He's also a talented Body Guard, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To protect his home; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and money/treasure

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. A friendly and beautiful Gnome, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To be a Crown-heir again; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
