History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: The child of a Scribe, who enjoyed hunting, Clerebold was taken on many hunting expeditions. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Born in the north to a Roofer, Wymar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He's also a talented Spice Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and to be a spice merchant again

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes
