History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Portia was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Cimer was born the youngest of three triplets. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: She was born in the east. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Claira alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
