He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Blacksmith for hire.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Cumpen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Trym was born the youngest of three triplets. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: She is a Stylist first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A gifted student she started as a Servant, but she got bored and became a Stylist. She tends to her Stylist job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
